Dr Strange
is perhaps Marvel Comics' most unusual character.
Making his debut in Strange Tales # 115, the good doctor shared billing in that title first with the Human Torch and then with Nick Fury. Initially represented in the distinctive style of Steve Ditko, Dr Strange assumed the title with # 169. His initial run lasted 15 issues, during which Gene Colan produced some awesome work. Later he would return, but for now, here's the 1968-69 run, plus a link to the cover of where the unfinished story was resolved. |
