Amazing Adventures was an attempt to re-create the double-feature success of titles like Tales of Suspense and Tales to Astonish ... oddly, using a name that had previously been used a decade earlier. This title was a vehicle for the Inhumans, who had been part of the popular supporting cast of the Fantastic Four, and the Black Widow, who had previously hung around with Iron Man, but would (much) later be a more significant player in Daredevil.
Beginning in the same month was a 'companion title' Astonishing Tales. |
