Bill Everett

Bill Everett was probably Marvel/Atlas's outstanding artist of the 1950's.  His work in the Silver Age was limited, but he co-created Daredevil in 1964 and later made a triumphant return to pencil his earlier creation, the Sub-Mariner, in the 1970's.  Equally at home in horror, mystery or super-hero genres, Bill Everett is an undisputed giant of the American comic book.
